Jack E. Eakman Scholarship Contest

Jack E. Eakman served as Vue’s Chairman of the Board for over 25 years. The annual scholarship contest is open to Vue members who are high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall and those enrolled in college for the upcoming school year. 

A total of 4 scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to the highest scoring essays.

Essay Topic: Explain the importance of your major in today's society. What are the most important issues your field of study is facing today?

If you have not yet declared a major, pick a controversial problem on college campuses and suggest a solution. 

Entries may be no less than 500 words. 

To apply: Complete the Jack E. Eakman Scholarship Application, submit your essay, and attach a wallet-sized photo. Additional documents needed: Acceptance letter or School Schedule for 2017-2018 semester. 

Documents can be submitted to info@vueccu.com or dropped off at either physical Vue location.

Applications are due NO LATER THAN JUNE 30, 2018

EMV Chip Cards

Out with the old, In with the new!

 

Vue's new EMV chip cards are on their way to every member.

These cards will be for both debit and credit.

 

This transaction is currently taking place and will be complete by spring.

Your new card will come via mail in a plain, unmarked white envelope. Please do not throw it away.

To ensure you get your card in a timely manner, make sure we have the most up to date contact information and address.  

We look forward to making this an easy transition for everyone.

Equifax Data Breach

You have likely heard about the recent Equifax data breach, as this unfortunate event affects approximately 44% of Americans. Equifax was compromised and the personal information of approximately 143 million consumers was stolen. The information leaked may include:

  • Consumer names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Birthdates
  • Addresses
  • Driver’s license numbers

This was NOT a compromise of Vue Community Credit Union and no information was taken from our systems. We wanted to share this information about Equifax to ensure you are aware of the issue and take the proper precautions to reduce the chances of fraud and identify theft.

Equifax recommends that you remain vigilant for incidents of fraud and identity theft by reviewing account statements and monitoring your credit reports. You may obtain a free copy of your credit report from each company listed below once every 12 months by requesting your report online at www.annualcreditreport.com, calling toll-free 1-877-322-8228, or mailing an Annual Credit Report Request Form (available at www.annualcreditreport.com) to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O.
